Anu Ahola to join Peikko Group’s Board of Directors

Peikko Group, a leading global supplier of concrete connections, composite structures and wind energy applications, has appointed Anu Ahola of UPM as a new non-executive member of the Board of Directors. The new member was elected by the Annual General Meeting of Peikko Group, and her term started on the 1st of March 2020.

Anu Ahola, Senior Vice President, is currently heading News & Retail Business Unit at UPM - the Biofore Company. UPM is a global leading pulp, biofuels, paper and energy company headquartered in Finland with a turnover exceeding EUR 10 billion. Ahola’s current responsibilities at UPM cover about 3,000 employees and a turnover exceeding EUR 1.5 billion. Prior to UPM she gained solid experience from positions at Nokia and Pöyry Corporation (currently AFT).

Jussi Vanhanen, CEO of Vexve Armatury Group, continues as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The other Board members continue as before: Morten la Cour Ørnstrand-Soborg, Managing Director of Knauf Denmark, Kasper Guldager Jensen, Senior Partner of an architect office 3XN, Philipp Jost, Head of Construction at Sika Group, Elmar Paananen, CEO of Troll Capital Oy, and Paul Rehn, Founder and President of Strusoft AB.
