This is Peikko’s second cooling tower project in South Korea and has a great significance because of the first public project.

One of the main benefits of using Peikko's solutions in this project was the fast erection stage: using the precast concrete construction process together with Peikko's concrete connection items was more than two months faster compared to cast-in-situ construction, and without any incidents during the construction period. In addition to the cooling tower, Peikko products were applied to the TR wall system.

The order comprised a notable amount of HPM® Rebar Anchor Bolts, HPKM® Column Shoes and COPRA® Anchoring Couplers for column connections, as well as SUMO® Wall Shoes and PVL® Connecting Loops for wall connections for the project.

The main contractor of the project was Doosan. The precast elements for the project were supplied by Korea Concrete Industry, and the subcontractor responsible for the precast frame erection was Taehwa. Peikko’s deliveries started in March 2022.
