The columns are designed by Peikko with HPKM / BOLDA column shoes and HPM / PPM anchor bolts.
This system enables a fast and efficient assembling of the columns without propping. Because of the circular requirements in this project it was also important that columns could be dismantled later on.
Circularity is very important in this project and using Peikko connections made this possible. Subcontractor M.B.S. Kelderbouw installed the HPM / PPM anchor bolts in the foundation and precaster Holcon casted the HPKM / BOLDA column shoes in the precast columns which were delivered to the building site.
